Abstract
Every stage of human development involves encountering stressful situations
newlineon a daily basis. Teachers are often subjected to various problems related to classroom
newlineteaching, practical work, curriculums and content, other teachers, principals,
newlinemanagements of school, school administrative works and many other such problems.
newlineThe present study is conducted to research that is any significance difference
newlinebetween educational problems and adjustments of higher secondary science teachers
newlineof Gujarat state with respect to certain variables.
newlineAdjustment means reaction to the demands and pressures of social
newlineenvironment imposed on the individual. Adjustment means alterations made by higher
newlinesecondary science teachers in order to improve their teaching in the classroom, with
newlineprincipal and other teachers, to improve economically and social conditions, to
newlinebecome good family member and generally a good person.
newlineThere have been various studies on the problems and adjustment of teachers,
newlinebut fewer researches have been found on the Educational problems and Adjustment of
newlineHigher secondary science teacher who go through immense Educational problems but
newlinehave to adjust to it and keep their level high throughout their service period.
newlineThe present study researcher has tried to study the Educational problems and
newlineAdjustment of higher secondary science teachers who are pursuing their carrier in
newlinehigher secondary science teacher teaching physics and chemistry. The main objective
newlinewas to find the significance difference in educational problem and adjustment of
newlinehigher secondary science teachers with respect to some demographic variables,
newlinenamely, gender (Male and Female), Area (Rural and Urban), medium of instruction
newline(English medium and Gujarati medium), Type of school (Grant-in-aid schools and
newlinePrivate schools), Subject (Chemistry and Physics) taken for the study. In this study,
newlinesurvey method has been used.
