An Integrated Data Analytics Framework with Enhanced Security

Abstract

v newlineABSTRACT newlineData analytics (DA) is the science of extracting patterns, trends and actionable newlineinformation from large sets of data. The growing nature of data from different sources newlinewith inconsistent data formats like structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. newlineTraditional IT infrastructure is simply not able to meet the demands of this new Data newlineAnalytics landscape. Because of this primary problem, many enterprises are turning to newlinethe open source approach as a potential solution to this unmet commercial need. As the newlineamount of data, especially unstructured data, collected by organizations and enterprises newlineexplodes, open source tools are emerging rapidly as one of the primary options for newlinestoring and performing operations on that data. The secondary but a major problem for newlinedata analytics is security. The rapid increase in usage of Internet and impact of various newlinesocial networks amplify the already huge web volume resulting in high level security newlineissues. The need of secured data analytics tool is mandatory in the business world. This newlineneed is addressed in the proposed model, which is focusing on developing an unique newlinetwo pass security enabled data analytics tool. This work concentrates on two different newlineends of current business world needs, namely attribute based analytical report newlinegeneration and better security model for clients. Hence the data to be analyzed is newlineencrypted and decrypted by a novel technique. The software and hardware keys are newlineprogrammed and embedded in a kit. When the user inserts that kit, an unique key will be newlinegenerated using the combination of hardware and software. This will provide high level newlineof authentication for the data to be analyzed. The data analytics part is performed with newlineattribute based constraints enabled data extraction. This model is giving better newlineperformance than the existing data analytical tools in both security and sensitive report newlinegeneration. newline
