dc.description.abstractERP is a fast growing technologies that is a essential need of any business organization. Classically, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are integrated software system integrated with various business function modules, i.e. Human Resource Management, Sales and Order Distribution, Finance and Production, ERP imparting organizational integration of operation -based data management in entire integrated business processes support. ERP software packages can be tailored up to a definite level to the particular needs of individual organization. ERP was described as the most significant development in the business utilization of information technology in the 1990s. Due to its complexity, many ERP projects have not been effective enough and hence have been incompetent to achieve the results as per requirements of the organization. As the cost of an ERP implementation project is very expensive to address this problem we propose the impact of a Critical Success Factors (CSF) approach to manage ERP implementation projects. After an extensive literature review on ERP research and ERP implementation project studies, we have analyzed and have proposed results on the following issues: newline The identification and definition of a comprehensive list of CSF. newline The significance of CSF along the complex ERP implementation phases. newline The definition of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for CSF. newline The analysis of CSF management in some organizational contexts. newlineThe success or failure of ERP implementation is directly associated to how the companies control the process. The ERP implementation process could be different in Indivisual Company. newlineThe differences might concern to the implementation goals, the scope or the available resources. The critical success factors (CSFs) could either be a risk or opportunities, depends on how the organizations handle them. Kuang, Lau and Nah (2001) identified eleven key critical factors for ERP implementation success, intending to provide practical solutions to the companies in the process of ERP imp
