dc.description.abstractnewline Abstract: newlineBackground: Rag picker , is often defined as an individual who acquires a livelihood by grubbing around the debris on streets to gather anything that could be refurbished. For example, broken glass could be fused and recycled endlessly, tatters could be swapped into cardboards, and even the skins of inanimate animals like dog and cats can be subdued into clothes. In India, an estimated 1.5 to 4 million rag pickers are involved in this work. Vocational and skill training program were administered for 3 months to experimental group based upon the relationship between their IQ and mental pain whereas the control group was given contemporary interest-based training for the said duration. newlineResults: Analysis comparing the Control and Experimental groups showed notable differences in pre- and post-intervention mean scores as well as the percentage improvements. The Control Group had a pre-intervention
