Abstract

Technology has a great impact on all aspects of economic life. It is inevitable and essential for accelerated development of Bihar Agriculture. Agriculture technology refers for the production of machines used on a farm to help with farming. Agriculture machines have been designed for practically every stage of the agricultural process. They include machines for tilling the soil, planting seeds, irrigating the land, cultivating crops etc. newlineAgriculture is the single largest private sector occupation in Bihar. Agriculture is the key to the overall development of the state economy. The Goal of the agriculture production system should be to maximize income of land owing and landless rural populace to improve their livelihoods. The susceptibility to income and consumption shocks makes it imperative to develop formal agriculture insurance mechanisms to cope with such risks. The objective of the agriculture policy in the state is to increase productivity of major crops so as to bring it close to national average. Opening up of markets has necessitated increased production at competitive prices. Adapting as well as popularizing proven Research and Development efforts is also important. The principle agricultural crops are rice, paddy, wheat, and jute, maize, and oil seeds. newlineThe thesis is divided in five chapters, including finding, recommendation and conclusions. The chapter first introduces and separately from brief study on use of agriculture technology in India. This chapter provides the background of the studies variables. Chapter Second, Research layout, Review of literature and research framework. A review of different research work on each variable and profile of the study area, the need for the study and research and sample design has been explained for attaining the research s pinpointed objectives. newlineThird Chapter, which deals with the profile of selected Districts and represented Agro- Climate zones of Bihar. Since the present study is mainly provide to secondary data, to analyze and examine the research objectives, statistical tools are used in Chapter Fourth analysis and testing of hypotheses. Analysis of technological interventions and its impact along with inter- connection of agriculture technology and agriculture production in Bihar. In this direction chapter, fifth Researcher has highlighted finding, recommendation, and conclusion of the study. newline newline
