Synthesis and in vitro characterization of cyanoacrylate

Abstract

There is a significant newlinedifference between the control group and the other newlineantimicrobial group (plt0.05). Although the tensile newlinestrength was more for the control group compared to the newlineother groups (plt0.05), it was not significant for group 4 newlineand group 2 (pgt0.05). For cytotoxicity testing using MTTA newlineassay when the control group was compared with the newlineother groups then the results were statistically not newlinesignificant (pgt0.05). newlineThis study concludes that cyanoacrylates as a pure newlinemolecule shows very less antimicrobial activity which is newlineenhanced on addition of antimicrobials, but tensile newlinestrength reduces as the molecule becomes diluted
