Abstract

Education is the process of sensitization and rationalization. newlineSensitization and rationalization are the most significant factors of newlinescientific thinking, When we think of about the tools of thinking then newlinewe find that concepts are the only important and essential requisite newlinefor it. Thinking may be related with arts, science, literature or any newlinestream but concepts have core part and have central place in newlinethinking arena. The course contents of Science and Mathematics newlinecomprise more than definitions, formulas and classifications. They newlineshould convey important scientific thinking and foster newlinemethodological, careful observation and accurate recording of data newlineto assist information of judgments and conclusions. Science and newlineMathematics must be demonstrably lived and learned in the real life newlineenvironment (laboratory) and not in the artificial realm of classrooms newlineor textbooks alone Visually Impaired or Hearing Impaired or Normal newlinechildren at junior high school level encounter difficult situations newlineeveryday and every moment. They adapt and assimilate their new newlineideas according to previous knowledge. It means some newlineunderstanding of earlier concepts in Science and mathematics or newlineany other concepts are essential for effective thinking and further newlinelearning. The importance of sense training in education has been newlinerecognized and emphasized by all educators. However Credit goes newlineto Madam Montessori that she gave the much importance to sense newlinetraining in her Method. Her dialectic apparatus consisting of colored newlinepieces of woods for telling weight, height, thickness etc. is designed newline2 newlineto train senses. The modern order in teaching-learning is things, newlinethoughts and words. Perception is built up from experiences newlinegradually through the activity of the sense organs so that a child is newlineable to distinguish between things by analysis his environment. The newlinebasic unit of all types of learning should be experienced through as newlinemany examples as possible. Concepts should be taught through the newlineprocess of connecting subject matter process of abstraction comes newlineat a late
