dc.description.abstractThe current research work is focused on investigating the influence of few selected heterocyclic Schiff base compounds on the corrosion of mild steel in aggressive acidic media. The inhibition efficiency of Schiff base compound was evaluated by both experimental analysis and theoretical calculations. Later drawing a correlation and reasoning between them. The amines such as 4-Amino antipyrine (4-AAP), p-Amino phenol, 2-Amino-5-Bromo pyridine, p-Nitro aniline, p-Bromo aniline, N-Phenyl-p-phenylenediamine (NPND) were chosen to obtains Schiff bases with substituted aldehydes and subjected for both experimental and theoretical investigations. newline
