Impact of human resource practice on organizational climate and performance on public and private sectors undertaking in India

Abstract

Human resource management practices are the most significant element for the newlineprogress of banking. With changing technology and globalization, banks become newlinehighly advanced technically and adopting new practices which are pillars for any newlineorganizations. The competitions increase the competitiveness among banks. The newlineGlobal banking scenario is seriously posing threats for Indian banking industry. It is newlinefact that HR occupies a unique and sensitive position in the banking sector; no newlinemeaningful change is possible without the involvement of their employees. Good newlineHRM practices are to attract the best talent, motivate them (Sangwan, 2005) newlineThe research shows result of the impact of Human resource practices on newlineorganizational climate and performance. Research established a significantly a positive newlinecorrelation between Human resource practices and Organizational performance and newlineclimate .The statistical analysis was based on four hundred respondents in the selected newlinepublic and private sectors banks showing that a close relationship between HR newlinepractices(Training and Development and Performance Appraisal ) and organizational newlineclimate and performance. In this research each of the variables will be cherished newlineindividuals in values, beliefs, and practices of the organization. The purpose of this newlinestudy was to identify relations between Human Resource Practices and organizational newlineperformance and climate and try to find out the impact factor of HR Practices on newlineOrganizational climate and Performance. The qualitative method was used because it newlinemade it possible to answer to the questions of why, how and in what way. It also newlineapplied because an interview was conducted with the employees of banking sector to newlineidentify the impact of HR Practices reforms on organizational Climate and newlinePerformance.
