Human resource is the key to the success of every organisation. The growth and
newlinedevelopment of any organisation depends, to a large extent, on the quality and quantity of its
newlinehuman resource. It is the human resource whose knowledge, skill, experience, efficiency and
newlinededication for the organisation prove to be the most important factor for its sustained
newlinedevelopment. Human resources include rank and file workers as well as managerial
newlinepersonnel.
newlineDisclosure of various types of information about human resource is essential for
newlinedecision-making by different stakeholders of an organisation. For example, in case of a
newlinecompany, Investors are interested in information relating to the quality of managerial persons
newlineand general workforce; Workers need information on labour welfare, safety and human
newlinerights; Government may require information on total number of employees and labour
newlineturnover; General public wants to know policy of selection and recruitment. Hence, types
