Design and Analysis of Efficient Resource Management in Fog and Cloud Environment

Abstract

Cloud technology is rapidly becoming an essential part of Internet technology. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is a prominent and rapidly growing field in cloud computing. Cloud providers under this distribution platform give resources to clients such as virtual computers, raw (block) space, firewalls, load balancers, and network appliances. One of the essential concerns in cloud computing for IaaS is resource management, which comprises Application Allocation, Resource Prediction, Resource Scheduling, Offloading, Load Balancing, Resource Placement, Resource Provisioning, and so on. Scalability, QoS, optimum utility, lower overheads, higher throughput, lower latency, a personalized environment, cost-effectiveness, and a simpler interface are all benefits of resource management for IaaS in Cloud and Fog Computing. newline
