Abstract

The statistics makes the clear fact that Secondary Traumatic Stress, compassion fatigue and burnout syndrome is common among the nursing officers in all age groups. Hence it is important to highlight the need for preventive and coping measures for STS, CF and burnout. Guided imagery technique focusing the nursing offers to realize their level of coping strategies and created awareness about the prevention or reduced the level of STS, CF and Burnout among nursing officers. Periodical implementation (two times a day) was helping them to overcome the precipitating factors of STS, CF and Burnout. newline
