Abstract
Graph theory has become highly significant as it is adapted to many fields in mathe-
newlinematics, science and technology. The concepts are widely used in diversified areas such
newlineas biochemistry (genomic), electrical engineering (communication networks and cod-
newlineing theory), computer science (algorithms and computation) and operations research
newline(scheduling). In other areas of pure mathematics, the strong combinatorial methods
newlineused in graph theory have also been used to prove fundamental objectives.
newlineOne of the most interesting problems in the area of graph theory is graph labeling.
newlineThis concept recently acquired a lot of reputation, due to not only its mathematical
newlineimportance, but because of the wide range of applications in day today scenario. Rosa
newlinefirst proposed the concept of graph labeling in 1967. Graph labeling is assigning the
newlineintegers to graph vertices or graph edges, or both, subject to certain unique constraints.
newlineThe categories of graph labeling includes vertex labeling, edge labeling and total labeling.
newlineNumerous labeling techniques have been studied in substantial articles
