Abstract
In this research a definition of smart city has been provided along with IoT s importance in order to develop a smart city is also covered through this paper. The infrastructure of a smart city such as smart mobility, smart building and wastage control system is added in this paper. Through this study challenges of developing a smart city and implementing IoT are also mentioned here such as security issues, cyber-attack, operational challenges, and trust issues of public is mentioned through this study. Along with that, effective solutions are also provided here such as using blockchain technology in order to prevent cyber-attack, using cloud storage to store huge amounts of data, social media for spreading awareness and so on is added in this research. Moreover, several features of a smart city such as its eco-friendly environment, government policies, implementation of new technology and so on are conducted through this study.
newlineRelationship between technology of cloud and IoT is also mentioned here along with its benefit among developers is also covered in this research. Evolution related work is also conducted along with data analysis is provided in order to understand the different technologies that are used by several cities. It is found that 98% accuracy is attained in London regarding the implication of the IoT system in developing smart cities. Furthermore, certain challenges are also identified in implementing cloud technology to develop a smart city. However, it is also evident that suitable innovative strategies are useful to imply smart technologies in this regard effectively.
