Measuring Impact of Diabetes On Quality of Life

Abstract

Unfortunately, diabetes has a major impact on the life of many people it is a newlinesilent killer quality of life in which an individual is highly comfortable and able newlineto participate in enjoy life events. Whereas, mental health refers to cognitive newlinebehavioural and emotional well-being. Marital adjustment can be defined as the newlinemental state among couples in which there is an overall feeling of happiness and newlinesatisfaction with their marriage. A good quality of life as a whole can be newlineconsidered as life satisfaction. Adjustment means balance in human being as a newlinewhole like physical psychological social and all fields. All variables determined newlineby a separate scale. For this 200 samples were selected and PDQ, PGI-HQ, newlineMAQ, LSS, MSAI, AND DAS. After data collection scored were arranged newlineanalyzed and tabulated. Thereafter N, M, SD and t-ratio were calculated. Result newlineshow that diabetic patient have high mental health than non-diabetic. There is newlineno significant difference in life satisfaction of diabetic and non-diabetic. newlineDiabetic and non-diabetic patient are not differ in adjustment. Diabetic patient newlinehave high death anxiety than non-diabetic.
