The study titled Humiliation and Incidents of Violence: A Study of Mirchpur Village in Haryana has a profound social impact, as it brings attention to the deeply rooted and systemic nature of caste-based violence, particularly against Dalit communities. By documenting specific incidents of violence and humiliation, the study not only highlights the physical and socio-economic consequences but also delves into the psychological and emotional trauma faced by the victims, such as feelings of self-estrangement, fear, and self-harm. This focus on mental health underscores the urgent need for trauma-informed psychological care and support systems tailored to the needs of marginalized communities. The findings have important policy implications, calling for more effective legislation, better enforcement mechanisms, and reforms in law enforcement to ensure justice and accountability. The study also promotes the importance of community healing and reconciliation, emphasizing dialogue and trust-building between different caste groups to foster social cohesion. Additionally, it advocates for educational reforms that include caste awareness and social justice in curricula, aiming to cultivate empathy and inclusivity among future generations. By amplifying the voices of the affected and showcasing their resilience, the research supports civil society efforts and government programs that empower marginalized communities. It also fills critical gaps in academic literature by examining the long-term impacts of humiliation and caste violence, encouraging further interdisciplinary research. In essence, this study contributes to a broader movement toward equity, justice, and lasting social transformation in Indian society. newline
