The present investigation comprised 45 genotypes including 30 crosses along with 13 parents and two checks viz., DWRB 137 and BH 946 were evaluated at Botany Farm of Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, MPUAT, Udaipur during rabi 2020-21. The experimental materials were evaluated under three environments (E1, E2 and E3) created by three dates of sowing viz., E1 (Early sowing), E2 (Normal sowing) and E3 (Late sowing). The data were recorded on eighteen traits to study the magnitude of mid parent heterosis, heterobeltiosis, economic heterosis, general, specific combining ability, effects, genotypes x environmental interaction and stability parameters. newlinePooled analysis of variance revealed that the mean sum of squares due to environments, genotypes, parents, crosses and parents v/s crosses were significant for all the characters, except hectoliter weight and bold grain due to parents v/s crosses. The mean sum of squares due to genotypes x environments was significant for all the characters except spike length, awn length and the number of grains per spike. Mean sum of square due to parents x environments were significant for all the characters except, days to 75 % flowering, days to maturity, plant height, number of effective tillers per plant, spike length, awn length, number of grains per spike and grain yield per plant, whereas the mean sum of square due to crosses x environments was significant for all the characters except, days to maturity, spike length, awn length and number of grains per spike. The mean sum of square due to parents v/s crosses x environments were significant for all the characters except, spike length, awn length, number of grains per spike and harvest index. newlineThe per se performance indicated that the parental line L1 exhibited maximum mean value for grain yield per plant, (27.45 g) along with the highest number of effective tillers per plant (9.46), number of grains per spike (58.14), biological yield per plant (69.18 g), harvest index (39.77
