dc.description.abstractAlternaria brassicae is a significant fungal pathogen causing Alternaria blight disease in cauliflower, leading to substantial yield losses. This study aims to investigate the induction of systemic acquired resistance (SAR) in cauliflower against Alternaria brassicae using abiotic and biotic elicitors. The research objectives include surveying and isolating the pathogen, evaluating defense responses in resistant and susceptible varieties, and assessing the efficacy of elicitors in inducing resistance. The findings of this study will contribute to the development of sustainable disease management strategies for cauliflower cultivation, reducing the reliance on chemical pesticides and promoting environmentally friendly practices.
