Abstract
Microwave chemistry has emerged as a very effective and non-polluting method of
newlineactivation in analytical and organic laboratories practice in recent decades. Microwave
newlineirradiation has been termed as a green chemistry technique for its advantages of
newlineenvironmental approach with remarkable reduction of reaction time and yield
newlineenhancement of various organic reactions.
newlineAgrochemicals are playing a major role in increasing the agricultural productivity by
newlineprotecting our crops from the menace of insect pests and diseases. Synthesis of newer
newlineagrochemicals is growing as a major area of interest for chemists due to concerned
newlineenvironmental hazards due to the existing ones and also the resistances developed by
newlinethe pests against them.
