A Comparative Study of Efficacy Of Fascial Release Techniques F R T and Modified Muscle Energy Technique M M ET in Mechanical Chronic Low Back Pain

Abstract

Background: newlineLow back pain in human is a major problem which occurs due to acquired lumber curve newlinein human spine. Most of Back Pain occurs due to Mechanical reason and only 3 % LBA newlinein patients occur due to Non-Mechanical reasons. Almost 97 % of Mechanical Low newlineBack Pain in Patients are due to soft tissue Problems. newlineObjective: newlineThe objective of this study is to compare the efficacy of fascial Release Technique newline[F.R.T] And Modified Muscle Energy Technique [M.M.E.T] in comparison with newlineconventional physiotherapy in patients with Chronic Mechanical Low back Pain. newlineMaterials and Methods: newline300 individuals were selected having the age group of 20-60 years having symptoms newlinewith chronic low back pain participated in this study. newlineThe purpose of this four-week program is to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments. newlineand a follow-up in 8 weeks. newlineParticipants were taken in study and randomized and divided into three different groups, newlinedesignated as groups 1. Control Group 2.Experimental Group I and 3.Experimental newlineGroup II. newlineResults and Conclusions: newlineEvaluation of these results concludes that the inclusion of application of F.R.T/M.M.E. newlineT techniques in the physiotherapy regime is more effective than the passive stretch and newlinethe study also suggests that the MMET Technique.is more effective in reducing the pain newlinein Chronic Low Back Pain patients than the F.R.T. Technique. newlineKey Words: F.R.T[ Fascial Release Techniques], M.M.E.T [ Modified Muscle newlineEnergy Technique] , LBA [Low Back Ache newline
