A Comparative Study of ayam vistara in sthoulya and Krusha

Abstract

In Dashavidh pariksha of rugna, praman sharir has importance for the measurement and newlinescholar has focused on this topic in his research project. Pramana has classified in Anguli and newlineAnjali Pramana.Anguli Praman is used for the measurement of dimensions such as Ayam newline(height), Vistara (arm span), utseda etc. of different parts of human body. newlineIn Vimansthan of Charak samhita it is mentioned that ayam and vistara of an newlineindividual is equal to the balanced longevity of that individual in life i.e. Ayu (longevity of life), newlinebala (Sharirik and Mansik bala), Oja, Sukham (Happiness), Aishwaryam (Wealth) and Vitta. newlineWhere as variations in the ayam and vistara affects the all above criteria. In this project scholar newlinehas taken efforts to evaluate thesama ayam and vistara in Sthula and Krusha individuals. Sthula newlineand Krushais included in Astounindita Purush. For this study total 100 individuals of either sex newlinewere selected of the age group 25-50 yrs. The individuals were taken randomly. The Swanguli newlinePraman was calculated by vernier caliper and Ayam and Vistara of an individual were measured newlineby measuring tape in cm and converted into Anguli-praman, weight was calculated with the help newlineof weighing machinethe results by statistical analysis states that the Sthula is common in female newlineindividuals.
