Abstract
newline This study investigates the impact of emotional intelligence (EI) on the worklife
newlinebalance (WLB) of faculty members at higher education institutes in
newlineChhattisgarh. Emotional intelligence, involving self-awareness, selfregulation,
newlinemotivation, empathy, and social skills, plays a vital role in
newlinemanaging the demands of both professional and personal life. The research,
newlinebased on surveys and interviews, reveals that faculty members with higher EI
newlinelevels experience better work-life balance, effectively managing stress and
newlinemaintaining harmony between work and personal responsibilities. The
newlinefindings underscore the importance of enhancing EI through targeted
newlinedevelopment programs to improve faculty well-being and job satisfaction.
