A Novel Approach to Detect Major Changes in Twitter Users Behaviour Based on Sentiment Analysis

Abstract

Online social network helps in building connections world-wide. There are many OSNs available newlinenowadays through which people are connected to one another. This connection could be directly or newlineindirectly i.e Friends or Friends of friends. Whatever is being shared on social media is available to most newlineof the people connected through that network. Use of OSN has increased at a rapid rate in past few years. newlineHence, attracting many researchers in various fields. According to latest research, a lot of work has been newlinedone in finding Sentiments behind the text written on social media. It could be finding Sentiment Polarity newlinefor the sake of Business, for product reviews or for any purpose. Finding Sentiments behind the text is newlinecalled as Sentiment Analysis. There are various methods and algorithms to extract meaning/sentiments newlinebehind the text. The Sentiment polarity could be Positive, Negative or Neutral. newlineSentiment Analysis is further enhanced to detect the type of mood a person is having at a particular time. newlineMood Detection is another area where Sentiment Analysis can help. When this work is extended for some newlinemore duration, behaviour of the person could be analysed. In this research, algorithms are proposed to find newlinethe behavioural pattern of the person using online social networks. These behavioural patterns can help in newlineunderstanding the effect of the text written by someone on social network.
