Emerging trends in corporate governance in India a comparative study

Abstract

The focus of the present research will be to examine and analyze the events that have stymied the evolution of corporate governance in India in contrast to most other studies that have dealt with the evolution of corporate governance after liberalization. Throughout the thesis, an attempt has been made to blend an academic approach with practical applications. The studies seek to promote better understanding and practice of good corporate governance among company directors and senior executives; policy makers and management faculty, researchers and students for sustainable corporate success.
