Ni-Mo-Cr Superalloys are a high-quality and appreciable material for their excellent mechanical strength, high corrosion resistance, and better thermal stability. It is the most demanded material in high-temperature applications such as gas turbines, aerospace components, power generation equipment, chemical processing industries, marine/offshore equipment, and automotive turbochargers. They excel in environments requiring resilience at extreme temperatures and thermal stresses. The machining of nickel-based superalloys using conventional methods often results in the formation of continuous chips due to their high ductility. This can lead to irregular surfaces and pose challenges in achieving precise complex shapes during conventional machining processes. Large-scale efforts have been applied to explore unconventional machining processes for microlevel applications to respond to these demands. Non-traditional machining techniques offer viable solutions for micro/meso scale machining of nickel-based superalloys, aiming to enhance surface quality, dimensional accuracy, and overall machining efficiency. newline
