Abstract

India is the world s largest democracy, getting independence in 1947, was faced with the twin newlineproblems of unemployment and poverty. Poverty is like a disease, which can be cured with newlinegood medicine, the medicine should be good government policies to prevent such disease. The newlinepoverty and unemployment are most important areas one must be concentrated to develop any newlinenation these two areas are like a both the sides of the coin. Unemployment leads to the poverty. newlinePoverty impact the economy. newlineThe government is trying to eradicate these issues by formulating acts and policies. Meantime, newlinegovernment is also proving budgetary allocations, funds and special assistance to overcome newlinewith these issues. Though, the outcome from these policies and measure are not clearly visible newlinein realistic and also there is no compressive evidence to know the impact of government policies newlinein eradication of poverty and unemployment. Generally, the policy documents of governments, newlinesanctioned and utilized fund data is available with respective government departments. newlineIndia is facing poverty, rural development and building infrastructure as some of the most newlinedifficult problems today. Today we are a billion-dollar nation and the greatest asset is our newlinehuman capital; it requires investment in health and education. We must also recognise the idea newlineof employment and the need to generate more employment in our country. The unemployment newlineand poverty issues in India have always been relevant Economic growth impediments. newlineRegional inequalities in this region are also crucial in the history. The problems of newlineunemployment and poverty would be minimised in the form of economic reforms, newlineimprovements in industrial policy, and increased use of available capital. Government officials newlinemust also launch long-term poverty reduction initiatives.
