Non Separable Reversible Data Hiding using Inverse S order and Skew Tent Map

Abstract

Steganography is the process of hiding a secret message within an ordinary message and newlineextracting it at its destination. Visual steganography is one of the most secure forms of newlinesteganography available today and highly suited for image files. Digital watermarking is newlinevery essential thing which embeds watermark information into digital signal. Steganography newlineis a procedure of furtive communication where a portion of information (a private message) newlineis concealed into another portion of naive looking information, generally called a cover, in newlinesuch a manner that the very subsistence of the furtive information remains hidden without newlineincreasing any distrust in the minds of the audience. newline newlineThe main objective of this research work is thus to study the application of reversible data newlinehiding since it maintains the excellent property that the original cover can be losslessly newlinerecovered after embedded data is extracted while protecting the image contents newlineconfidentiality. Reversible data hiding facilitate secure communication in self- newlinecommunication, one to one communication and one-to-many communication. newline newlineThe research aims is to increase the RDH capacity and improve the quality of stego images. newlineIn this research work, proposed a novel and secure RDH method based on Histogram newlineModification and Skew Tent Map, which consists of image encryption, data embedding and newlinedata extraction/image-recovery phases. In the first phase, a content owner will take the newlineinverse s-order of the histogram. After that data hider will hide the additional data into the image using data hiding key and then encrypts the image with the help of encryption key, though the receiver does not know about the original content.
