Agricultural Mechanization Through Agricultural Implements And Machineries For Improving Crop Production A Critical Analysis With Reference To Wardha District Of Vidarbha Region

Abstract

newline ABSTRACT newlineIn India, agriculture is the core of the rural livelihoods and economical stability, and enhancement newlineof farm productivity still remains one of the primary policy and research agendas. Over the past newlinefew years, agricultural mechanization has become more and more significant as a reaction to labor newlinescarcity, escalating cultivation expenses, narrowing spheres of operation, and these constraints newlineposed by small and fragmented land parcels. Against this background, the current research will newlineexplore the effects of agricultural mechanization on the productivity of farms in Wardha District newlinein the Vidarbha region whereby the traditional mode of farming is growing alongside the newlinedevelopment of the gradually mechanized farming means. newlineThe research is founded on synthesis of primary and secondary data, providing the opportunity to newlinemeasure productivity results not only based on perceptions, but also with the help of facts. The newlinestructured questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale was used to collect primary data through newlinea questionnaire distributed to farmers in the district. The survey was devoted to the experiences newlineand perceptions of the farmers on the use of the agricultural implements and machineries with newlinerespect to the productivity, operational efficiency, labor substitution, time management, ease of newlineoperation of the farm and general satisfaction. Besides this, farmers will be requested to mention newlinethe significant challenges they encounter during the introduction and usage of mechanized newlineequipment. Trends in the agricultural productivity and statistical analysis of the relationship newlinebetween mechanization and output performance were analyzed using secondary data. newlineThe statistical methods used in the analysis include descriptive and inferential analysis. The newlineperception levels and responses patterns were interpreted using descriptive statistics. Analysis of newlineVariance (ANOVA) was used to investigate the difference of the mechanization in terms of farm newlinesizes and type of crops among different implements and m
