Abstract
newline quotImage processing is a physical process used to convert an image signal into a physical image. The image signal can be either digital or analog. The actual output itself can be an actual physical image or the characteristics of an image. The image processing involves in the logical process in detecting, identifying, classifying, measuring and evaluating the significance of physical and cultural objects, their patterns and spatial relationship.
newlineThis thesis deals with these two necessary resolution factors which can be considered as multiresolution image which is taken with the facts of high resolution and the low resolution. The image size of each pixel must be decreased (higher resolution). The enlarged image will have fewer pixels per inch (lower resolution). Moreover it is concerned with the compression of color images; color texture is first quantized and transformed into a grey-scale texture image. The color variations were focusing on color fundamentals, including color management, gamut mapping, and color constancy. The image conversion is done with RGB color spaces to CMYK color spaces. The so-called primary colors red (R), green (G), and blue (B) is the variable combination. And magenta, cyan, and yellow are the colors being produced from adding to the primary color that makes with so-called secondary colors. An image can be enhanced with this primary and secondary colors for the processing of an image for the resolution with low and high. The characteristics generally used to distinguish one color from another are brightness, hue, and saturation.
