Due to the newly developed emerging brands of Industry 4.0 and big newlinedata, the number of IoT applications for WSNs is increasing every year. Hence, newlinethe new opportunities are possible with a reasonable cost with the rise of new newlinedevelopments in big data technology, however, the WSN requirements are newlinebeing same and only the scalability, robustness, and energy efficiency can be newlinesatisfied. The usage of antennas, transceivers, and radio frequency chains newlineincreases the computational complexity and cost in IoT applications. Moreover, newlinethe transmission efficiency of the WSN needs to be improved to support various newlineIoT applications. newlineThe future-generation communication networks are supported by the newlinebetter transmission efficiency of WSN sensors. The lifelong period of the WSN newlinenodes is increased drastically to achieve an effective transmission rate in the newlinesensing field and the energy consumption is also required to be decreased for newlineefficient communication in the WSN system. Hence, in this thesis, the CH node newlineselection-based efficient routing approach is introduced for achieving the newlinerequired communication efficiency in WSN. The optimal routing in the newlinepresented model is accomplished with the help of selecting CH, DN, and CCH newlinein the sensing area. Nearer to the BS, the DNs are located and this selection of newlineDN decreases the computational overload of CH. The DN and CCH selection newlinein the developed approach is done via the adoption of SA-COA, and this newlineeffective selection process helps provide better communication efficiency in newlineWSN. The information from CH is copied by selecting CCH to decrease the newlinedata loss during transmission. The comparative analysis among the newlineconventional models is carried out to show the effectiveness of the developed newlineoptimal routing scheme by using various validation measures and the results newlineprove that the routing efficacy of the introduced optimization-aided node newlineselection strategy is obtained with promising results in the WSN. newline
