An efficient framework for secure data dissemination in IOT networks using intelligent stimulus

Abstract

The growing popularity of automation systems and Internet of Things (IoT) based systems has resulted in the tremendous growth of devices and complexity in data transferring. Data transfer plays a major role in IoT devices in order to send the data from one node to another for performing the designed actions. Autonomous systems including self driving car, large scale health care monitoring system and Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) use data dissemination system for effective data transfer. This creates an overriding need to provide efficient means of data dissemination methodologies in complex IoT environments for data communication, analysis and data processing. This provides valuable assistance to automation motive of the contemporary automobile industry, health sector and other valuable sectors of the society. Data dissemination across networks is a challenging job due to the presence of selfish nodes in an IoT environment with variance of protocol, queue design and other network factors. In this context, secured data dissemination across network is an important research problem and receives growing attention. Current algorithms such as geo-social distance based dissemination, queue based dissemination, etc., for disseminating data are application oriented and domain dependent. newline
