Abstract

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a smart technology which deals with the set of number of sensor newlinenodes. Sensor nodes are required to transmit data and receive data during wireless communication. newlineIn WSN, large number of sensor nodes are distributed over the whole WSN area. The large number newlineof sensor nodes are managed by clustering the whole sensor nodes in a group. The clustering of newlinethe sensor node in a groups is called cluster head. The cluster head monitors the sensor nodes for newlinedata transmission and reception during wireless communication. During the whole process of data newlinetransmission and reception in WSN, there are number of challenges and issues which occurres. newlineThe challenges and issues during wireless communication affects the Quality of Services(QoS) of newlinethe Wireless Sensor Network. QoS signifies the performance of the Wireless Sensor Network newlineduring data transmission and reception with real time application. newline1. Introduction newlineThe Quality of Service (QoS) refers to the performance of the Wireless Sensor Network. The newlineperformance of the WSN is measured in terms of different QoS parameters such as delay, newlinemaximum coverage ratio, path optimization, reliability, availability and serviceability of network newlineetc. To achieve the better Quality of Service of the WSN, it is necessary to overcome the challenges newlinewhich occurs during the WSN real time application. The challenges and issues for this are listed newlinebelow: - newline Restriction in bandwidth, power supply and memory size. newline Limited area of wireless sensor network for transmission of data. newline Sensor node deployment problem. newline2 | P a g e newline Network traffic problem. newline Localisation of nodes under given area of network. newline Wireless Sensor Network design issues with Hardware and Software. newline Modularity of hardware system. newline Robustness in Wireless Sensor Network design. newline Feasibility of Wireless Sensor Network with real time application. newline Reliability, Availability and Serviceability (RAS) of Wireless Sensor Network. newlineThe Quality of Service is the ability of a network elemen
