Abstract
Water is finite natural resource on the planet Earth and existence of life
newlinedepends on water. Water is required in various activities such as, recreational,
newlineagriculture, household including industries. Huge amount of waste water is
newlinegenerated, which contains various kinds of pollutants including dyes. To minimize
newlinethe harmful effect of toxic or carcinogenic dyes, number of technologies such as
newlineelectrochemical, precipitation, bio-absorption, bio-oxidation, ozonation, membrane
newlineseparation processes, physio-chemical treatment and chemical oxidation are
newlineavailable. Semiconductors have high potential of decolorizing textile effluent. In the
newlinepresent study, efforts are made to investigate a new improved method for the
newlinedegradation of some dyes using different undoped/ doped ternary oxide
newlinenanoparticle.
