newlinetools were discussed like Facebook, Instagram, Blogs, Bookmarks, RSS Feeds, etc. The
newlinecharacteristics and functions of the web tools were discussed in the work.
newlineThe objectives were intended to extract the facts on awareness about web technology tools
newlineamong library professional. These are also investigated the types of services provided
newlineusing them and expressed about the usefulness of the web technology tools in library
newlineservices. It is done the comparative study among the various variables for hypothesis
newlinetesting and the researcher found many research gaps and suggested for further research in
newlinethe last chapter.
newlineThe researcher had followed the suitable research methods like exploratory and descriptive
newlinemethods. The analytical method was used to collect the data and analyse the collected
newlinedata. The quantitative approach was followed. The structured questionnaire was used to
newlinecollect the data though online questionnaire design with help of Google forms. The
newlinepopulation of the study was 204 colleges were considered. To find the error in the
newlinequestionnaire with 40 samples the pilot study was done. The questionnaire contains the
newlinethree parts demographic, general information about institute and library, and core
newlineinformation for the research related. Out of 204 population of the sampling 189 (92.64%)
newlineresponses and in this the 140 (68.62%) samples were considered for the study. The
newlinestatistical tools like percentage or frequency, Mean, Standard Deviation, One Way
newlineANOVA test and t-test were used.
