Abstract
newline Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is the foundation for several vital
newlineapplications. The network uses nodes that are dispersed in the environment
newlinefor monitoring purposes. The nodes must be alive for extended periods
newlinedespite limited energy and processing capacity issues. These networks use
newlinemulti-hop routes to transmit sensed information to sink nodes that make
newlinedecisions or act based on the received information. This demonstrates the
newlineimportance of fusion processes, which result in qualitative data at sink nodes.
newlineData aggregation and routing path selection have been introduced to solve the
newlineabove-mentioned issues in WSN. On the other hand, security is a significant
newlinefactor during data transmissions. Swarm Optimization and energy-aware
newlinerouting have been introduced for Internet of Things (IoT) based WSN to
newlineimprove energy efficiency and successful data transmission. Three significant
newlinecontributions have been made to this work for the WSN model.
