Abstract
Antibiotics are powerful agents that fight against bacterial infections. When the
newlinenumber of harmful bacteria is excessive, the immune system cannot fight them.
newlineAntibiotics are advantageous in this scenario. The efficacy and safety are plays a vital
newlinerole in selection of antibiotics. The antibiotic usage is high in chronic infections and both
newlinethe efficacy and safety of antibiotics may be altered in chronic disorders such as diabetes,
newlinehyperlipidemia. As well as, it may increase the severity of the chronic disorders or both.
newlineThis study is focused about to examine the efficacy and adverse drug reaction of
newlineantibiotics in chronic disorders including diabetes mellitus and arthritis by using standard
newlineanimal models. The present study concluded that the LZD therapy was excellent efficacy and
newlineproduces more toxicities than CLIN against diabetic MRSA infections and arthrtis. The
newlineLZD treatment increases the diabetic complications such as hepatotoxicity, oxidative
newlinestress, anemia, lactic acidosis, organ damage, and arthritic complications such as
newlinehepatotoxicity, oxidative stress and anemia. SN treatment exhibited a significant
newlineameliorative potential by attenuated the myelosuppression and liver damage provoked by
newlinelactic acidosis, IAP in LZD-treated rats. The present study indicated that the SN also
newlinesignificantly alters the numerous prospectives in the management of LZD induced
newlinehepatotoxicity. These outcomes are of clinical importance particularly, use of SN as a
newlinesafe unique therapy or in combination to counteract LZD-induced hepatotoxicity. Further
newlinestudies are recommended to find out the protective role of SN against LZD induced
newlinehepatotoxicity in various chronic disorders such as malignancy, chronic renal disease,
newlinehypertension, hyperlipedemia etc. In future, several researches needed for the different
newlinediseased population while using antibiotic LZD.
