Abstract

The core of the study is the analysis of the pedagogical aspects of Rajyoga as conceptualised by Brahma Kumaris. The objectives of the study: 1) To study the activities of Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, to get a deeper view of Rajyoga Philosophy. 2) To analyze the general philosophy of Rajyoga as conceptualized by Brahma Kumaris. 3) To examine the pedagogical aspects of Rajyoga as conceptualized by Brahma Kumaris.4) To frame recommendations for general education emerging from the analysis of pedagogical aspects of Rajyoga as conceptulised by Brahma Kumaris. Methodology of the study: The study is philosophical in nature; hence, philosophical and historical method was used. The philosophy of Rajyoga has its own theories about metaphysics (that deals with the concepts of souls, God, the World Drama, the three Worlds and the five Ages, the philosophy of karma and reincarnation); epistemology; and axiology. After the analyses of the pedagogical aspects of Rajyoga and the worldwide activities organised by the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, it was concluded that the Rajyoga meditation and value-education system professed by the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University are eternally pertinent in pedagogy, help churn out better character in pupils, It has an array of benefits that it bestows on its practitioners, and is a boon to students, who can utilise it to have lasting consequences on their performances by improving their concentration, memory power, retention capabilities.
