research study in Paithani business was to attempt a descriptive and analytical study of the entrepreneurial and trade activity of Paithani weaving, since it was the major trade item of Maharashtra as well as India with other empires in ancient times. Paithani weaving activity can be proven as the ancient example of industry, trade and export of Maharashtra. Another reason is, there is no research done in this area.
