Abstract
In order to survive and excel in the competitive scenario, healthcare organizations have to recognize the patients requirements. Furthermore, healthcare satisfaction arises to describe attitudes towards care. Patient satisfaction assesses from patients feelings and their perception towards healthcare services. To appreciate the extent to which organizational goals are achieved and business strategies are effective, it is crucial to define an integrated system of indicators that can tell whether the organization is going in the right direction with good performance or not. Moreover, any management decision should be based on a good knowledge of the current state of the organization, which is not possible without a system of performance indicators to inform management about the results obtained in all key activities and processes of the organization. In this respect, this research tried to identify and analyze the healthcare satisfaction and healthcare quality, which are the main indicators that reveal healthcare performance of the healthcare organization.
newlineAs the healthcare industry moves towards managed competition and a new era of healthcare, information for aligning an entire organization to meet customer requirements efficiently will become increasingly important. These customers are mainly patients, but also include physicians, staffs, payers and other stakeholders in the managed care environment. In this new healthcare environment, positioning based on the areas such as financial performance, medical outcome and perceived service quality are critical. Nowadays healthcare sector is focused on practicing effective strategies in tune with its mission and vision.
