Implementation of interrupt controller and serial peripheral interface for complex SOC design

Abstract

Advancement in semiconductor technology have reduced the size of transistor, this in turn brought many benefits like reduction in operation speed of chips, system size, price and increased the functionality with in the devise. However designing of such circuits from the newlinescratch is very complicated. At this stage modular designs and reuse of existing design modules are the solution to the above said issue. The SOC design process consists of the following major stages: implementation of design, definition of architecture, functional rverification, test, physical design and physical verification. newline newline
