Abstract
Employee engagement transforming in to Empowerment Synergy
newlineWhen the employees display pride and commitment to complete their tasks and
newlineresponsibilities on time with full dedication and quality, the management provides them the
newlineorganizational landscape to explore and evolve. The entire landscape is provided for
newlineindividuals. They can work on organizational transformation and relook in to the strategies
newlineand pathways which would modify the existing employee culture and behavior in
newlineorganizations. These employees are provided with power, authority and responsibility with
newlinefull rights to change and modify things as they want which results in organizational welfare.
newlineAutonomy and self-induced behavior and responses towards work enable the power to take
newlinedecisions in consultation with team and management. These proactive, responsive behavior
newlinein organizational situations are called as employee empowerment. It is a self-directed concept
newlineand it can be influenced to a larger and greater extent. The individual s involvement and
newlinecommitment is required in the first place to create such work environments. These work
newlineenvironments can be made magical places of work and productivity with specific
newlineorganizational interventions like power, rewards and freedom. When these organizational
newlinefacilities and situations are enabled in work it leads to effectiveness and efficiency and
newlinesynergic growth. The management has to take clear steps and approaches and provide enablers which can increase employee motivation towards work.
newlineWhen enablers are provided in work situations, it leads to employee empowerment. It is a
newlinestrategy of differentiation adopted by companies for market adaptability and employee performance management.
newlineSelf-Perspective in Organizational context and Implications
newlineThe concept of self, self-perspective, self-orientations define employee s involvement and effective engagements in organizational work situations. The self-defines the nature and extent of organizational performance and commitment.
