newlineMETHODS:
newlineThe study was designed to find out the effect of exercise on motor abilities of deaf and dumb children. For this study 40 male school students from Govt. Deaf and Dumb School, Morar, Gwalior, M.P were selected randomly as the subjects for the study. The age of subjects was 11 to 14 years. The students were randomly selected. The study was formulated as Pre Time Series design, in which 40 students were randomly selected and underwent for specific exercise training. The variable selected for the study were motor abilities, Balance abilities, Strength abilities and Agility abilities.. Data were taken five times, at the beginning 0 week, after 2 weeks, after 4 weeks, after 6 weeks and finally at the end of the experiment period of 8 weeks. The training was conducted for a period of eight weeks, Three days (Monday, Friday and Wednesday) a week. To attain the objectives, Descriptive statistics were used to describe the nature and characteristics of the data. To find out the significance, one way repeated measure analysis of varience with Mauchly s test of sphericity was applied. The level of significance was set at 0.05. Eta Square was also calculated to see the effect size of significance.
newlineRESULTS:
newlineThe obtained data was analyzed by applying the repeated measure one way analysis of variance. Results that a significant difference was found in the different levels of time durations in the Orientation ability, Static Balance, Dynamic Balance Explosive strength, reaction ability, and rhythmic ability whereas No significant difference was found in Agility ability.
