E newlineStudy of Dermoscopy and Histopathology Findings in Cutaneous Hypopigmented Disorders. newlineBACKGROUND newlineHypopigmented cutaneous disorders are diagnostically challenging, especially in individuals with skin of colour, where clinical examination alone is often insufficient. Dermoscopy provides a non-invasive diagnostic tool, but its reliability against histopathology the gold standard requires systematic evaluation. This study assessed dermoscopy histopathology concordance across eleven hypopigmented disorders and generated preliminary data for future AI-based diagnostic applications. newlineAIM and OBJECTIVES newlineAim newlinePreliminary data collection for generation of AI tool in diagnosis of hypopigmented cutaneous lesions. newlineObjectives newline1. newlineTo collect and analyze the dermoscopic features of hypopigmented cutaneous disorders serving as preliminary groundwork for AI-based diagnostic tool development. newline2. newlineTo collect and analyze the histopathological features of cutaneous hypopigmentary disorders. newline3. newlineTo calculate the concordance between dermoscopic and histopathological findings in cutaneous hypopigmentary disorders. newlineMATERIALS AND METHODS newlineThis hospital-based observational analytical study was conducted over 2 years in the Dermatology OPD of Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital (AVBRH), a tertiary care centre attached to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha, Central India. A total of 90 consecutively sampled patients with hypopigmented lesions were enrolled newlineafter written informed consent and ethical approval. Patients of both genders with hypopigmented cutaneous lesions were included; infants and toddlers were excluded. All patients underwent dermoscopic evaluation using standard protocols, and biopsies were performed where indicated. Dermoscopic features and histopathological findings were systematically documented for each disorder. newlineSTATISTICAL ANALYSIS newlineThe data obtained from dermoscopic and histopathological findings were entered into Microsoft Excel and analyzed using SPSS version 26.0 and GraphPad Prism versio
