The investigation of heat transport enhancement in boundary layer flows has immense applications in various engineering and industrial processes, heat exchangers or micro heat sinks, extrusion process of polymer sheets, cooling of electronic chips etc. The properties of the end product in the extrusion process of a polymer sheet can be significantly altered by passing such sheets through suitable Newtonian or non-Newtonian cooling liquids. newlineThe main idea behind the present numerical study is to analyse the heat transport characteristics of viscoelastic boundary layer flow of different type of hybrid nanofluids (e.g. comprising metal oxide nanoparticles and MWCNTs or Alumina-Silica in viscoelastic base fluids such as ethylene glycol or 50:50 mixture of ethylene glycol and water) by using the Tiwari and Das model. The non-Newtonian nature of such hybrid nanofluids revealed by experiments is taken due care of at the time of modeling. The thermal conductivity of metal or metal oxide nanoparticles is calculated using Hamilton-Crosser model on the lines of Tiwari and Das. But the thermal conductivity of CNTs is calculated by Xue s model which was developed by taking into account the spatial distribution and large axial ratio of CNTs. newline newline
