Investigation of Aquaphotomics for Assessment of Citrus Juices

Abstract

Aquaphotomics is the branch of spectroscopy that focuses on the variation in the water absorption newlinematrix coordinates due to perturbations in a sample. The perturbation may be due to changes in newlinetemperature, adulteration or moisture. The aquagrams are developed using the absorbance in the newlineNear Infrared region from 1300 1600 nm. The branch of aquaphotomics along with multivariate newlineanalysis is used to assess the quality of citrus juices. The two citrus juices under consideration newlinewere lemon and mosambi juice samples. Introduction and Literature review of all research work newlinecarried out to achieve the objectives is mentioned in Chapters 1 and 2 respectively. newline
