Factors influencing satisfaction of management students in higher education

Abstract

Higher education is one of the most important an attractive and gradually more newlinethan Indian, and international, and the number of national students studying in newlineChennai institutions of higher education is continuously growing. Management newlinestudents contribute to their own success, campus diversity, campus newlineinternationalization, and the Indian economy. However, it is not merely enough to newlinebring national students it is critical to serve them, retain them, and graduate them. newlinePrograms and services that stimulate national student engagement in educationally newlinepurposeful activities are crucial. Student engagement in effective educational newlinepractices is associated with high levels of learning and personal development. While newlinestudent engagement has been studied extensively for Chennai students, this is not the newlinecase for national students. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship newlinebetween student teacher interaction, supportive campus environment and student newlinesatisfaction with Practical competence gain and the academic success of national and newlineit investigated how institutional type (classification and control) and critical mass newline(percentage of Chennai students and academic major) affect student engagement newline(represented by benchmarks) and how student perceptions, and affects student newlinesatisfaction and academic success. This study is significant for research by informing newlinethe audience about the extent to which National level students are satisfied with their newlineexperiences, how they interact with peers and faculty, and how they participate in newlineeducational activities. It contributes to policy by informing institutions how funds newlineshould be allocated toward particular effective educational practices and to practice newlineby informing administrators, faculty, and staff about what international students do newlinewhile they are in college thus informing them how to intervene in order to improve newlinetheir experience while studying in the Chennai.
