Abstract

Polycystic ovary syndrome PCOS is an endocrine disorder affecting newlinereproductive aged women and characterized by symptoms such as oligomenorrhea insulin resistance hirsutism and obesity Phytoestrogens are newlinenaturally occurring compounds in plants with estrogen like activity were employed to create phytoestrogen rich nutri mix powder using underutilized ingredients like fenugreek seeds flax seeds black sesame seeds and nicker newlinenuts The study explored potential connections between PCOS and gut microbiota revealing intricate interactions among metabolic endocrine and newlinemicrobial factors Drosophila melanogaster shares significant similarities with humans which served as a model for investigating gut health and micro newlinebiome dynamics The research aimed to assess the impact of the phytoestrogen newlinerich nutri mix powder on the gut microbiome composition in Drosophila melanogaster by in vivo method Simultaneously anthropometric measurements and biochemical parameters were evaluated in women with newlinePCOS in a Single Blind Randomized Controlled Trial design Reproductive aged women 18 to 45 years with PCOS received the phytoestrogen rich nutri newlinemix powder for intervention group and plain dal powder for placebo group respectively for 60 days demonstrated that the phytoestrogen rich newlinenutri mix powder is enriched in polyphenols flavonoids and omega 3 fatty acids The intervention positively influenced the gut microbiome composition in Drosophila indicating the presence of Bacillus paramycoids Moreover newlineimprovements in HDL FSH, Hb levels reduction in free cholesterol and LDL levels enhanced regulation of menstrual cycle and decreased weight BMI, newlineWC and WHR were observed The study emphasizes the effectiveness of the newlinephytoestrogen rich nutri mix powder in managing PCOS suggesting that more extended intervention in the duration would yield greater impact newline newline newline
