Abstract
Today the use of computers, tablets, phones, projectors has become so widespread that it has become impossible to imagine a world without all these gadgets. In such a situation you would expect the teaching and learning process to go beyond the chalk and talking method. The combination of advances in hardware and software has resulted in improved learning features. In present research researcher will used a self-developed audio-visual software as a teaching material in English subject for the students of standard 11. The researcher constructed a multimedia package in English Grammar subject for the students of standard 11. The researcher selected three different schools from Ahmedabad city. From all three schools, the researcher selected total 266 students. These students were divided in two equivalent groups. One group was experimental group and another group was controlled group. The students of experimental group were treated with multimedia package and controlled group was treated with traditional teaching method. It was finally revealed that the multimedia teaching strategy is more effective than traditional teaching method.
