| dc.description.abstract | Transition metal oxides (TMOs) are truly fascinating because of newlinetheir broad range of phases with distinct structures, characteristics, and newlineapplications. Zinc oxide (ZnO), one of the II-VI transition metal oxides, has newlinebeen studied the most due to its intriguing physicochemical and newlineoptoelectronic properties. Hence, it is therefore one of the widely studied newlinematerials and is used in many fields, such as electronics, spintronics, paints, newlinebatteries, solar cells, medicine, personal care products, sensors, catalysis, newlineand agriculture.
