Abstract
This thesis reports the studies on fault-tolerant control of various
newlinetypes of dynamical systems. Several sufficient conditions are used for the
newlinestability and stabilization of the considered dynamical systems. Furthermore,
newlinethis study involves robust dissipative sample-data problem for a class of
newlineuncertain nonlinear systems in the presence of nonlinear fault has been
newlinestudied. Specifically, Hand#8734; and passivity controls are discussed from the
newlineproposed dissipative control results. Next, extended dissipativity-based
newlinenon-fragile control has been proposed for flight control systems with randomly
newlineoccurring uncertainties and actuator faults. Also the reliable non-fragile
newlinecontrol has been discussed. Based on the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model
newlineapproach, finite-time extended passive, reliable filter has been developed for
newlinea class of continuous-time systems via time-varying delay. Moreover, the
newlinestochastic variable satisfying the Bernoulli random distribution are introduced
newlineto characterize the phenomenon of the randomly occurring uncertainties and
newlinemissing measurements. Next, robust finite-time non-fragile sampled-data
newlinecontrol is investigated for an uncertain flexible spacecraft model with stochastic
newlineactuator. Finally, stabilization of interval type 2 fuzzy systems with time-varying
newlinedelay, nonlinear actuator fault and external disturbances has been examined. All
newlinethe above mentioned results are obtained by using Lyapunov stability theory,
newlineintegral inequalities such as Jensens integral inequality,Wirtinger-based integral
newlineinequalities and linear matrix inequality techniques. Numerical examples with
newlinesimulation results are provided in each chapter to show the efficiency and
newlineapplicability of the proposed control design techniques.
